🌌Journey Through Oblivion: The Black Hole Dragon is Here!

Hello everyone! 

We’ve got two big updates for you today, starting with… the BackerKit Survey and Preorder Store are now officially open!

Now for the fun part. We have something new to unlock in the pledge manager. If you’ll recall there was a second requested pin...The Black Hole Dragon!

This cosmic terror is the dark counterpart to our Nebula Dragon. Where one is the birth of a star, Oblivion represents their cataclysmic end! Less twinkle, more devour.

Previously we shared our rough sketch of this beastie.

With the initial sketch ready, we jumped straight into refining the design.

Cool? Absolutely. But not quite menacing enough. This guy needs to scream “Lord of Annihilation”. So we sharpened their wings, implanted a skeletal spine, and dialed up the dread.

Now we’re talking. Next stop: ink!

And because oblivion deserves some flair, we’re packing this dragon with glittering void wings, pearl in the brighter bits of the wings, and glow in the dark eyes!

We wanted to do something really fun with this dragon in terms of effects. There will be glitter in the dark parts of his wings and belly (not the black hole of course), non swirled pearl in the bright colors of his wings AND glow in the dark eyes!

We cannot wait to bring this beast to life! But we need to hit 20 preorders to make it happen. If you want a black hole dragon lurking in your pin collection, head to the preorder store or add them in your campaign survey!
