Jupiter isn’t just a pin, it’s a statement. At a whopping 4 inches, this giant of a dragon is our largest pin to date. (Seriously, it’s practically a dinner plate. You could serve a slice of pizza on this thing. Please don’t.)
When we first began brainstorming Jupiter, we knew it had to embody the raw power of its namesake Zeus, god of thunder. We imagined a massive, slow-moving dragon, gliding through the skies like a cosmic whale, its body wreathed in storms that crackled with lightning.
For Jupiter, I was heavily influenced by giant salamanders. Specifically, I really wanted Jupiter to embody the now-extinct Diplocaulus. It has a fun pudgy yet sharp shape. I couldn’t get enough of it.
