✨Cosmic Dragon Progress Report

Hello friends!

First and foremost, for those still waiting on the Celestial Dragon enamel pin campaign, I will be posting an update soon on the progress on Backerkit. Stay tuned!

So far, July’s been treating us well. Last weekend, we finished up the SJMade Summer Fair and made many new friends. This is a laid-back show where folks just want to have a chill weekend. With that behind us, we won’t be traveling for shows again until August. 

Today, I would like to talk about progress on my grand Celestial Dragon piece. I want this piece to harmonize the dragons together in one place. Let’s see how far we’ve flown.

Morning Star: Complete!

Behold the tiniest lil cosmic guy! So cute! Like a little ember vibing among giants.

Mercury: 90% There!

These two are a bit slippery, and while I made some progress on them, I still have a small way to go. The two of them together remind me of an oroboros, though that isn’t what is happening here. Just besties hanging out.

Mars: Armoring up!

I love how smug Mars is in their fine plated armor. If you are a fan of Monster Hunter, this pose reminds me of Teostra. Such a noble fellow.

Neptune: Flowing Fun

Last up is Neptune. The pose is flowy and dynamic. Almost carefree. I can’t wait to see how the final colored art comes out.

This weekend we plan on doing a lot of catch up work. I’m happy to have a moment between shows again. There is a lot that goes on behind the scenes to make them happen. With a bit of spare time, I hope to get a lot more done in the coming days.
